wasabibunny is on a distinguished road
I was able to get English Vista on my HP pc that I bought from Broadway. The only annoying thing is everything else is still set to Chinese so everything I visit a webpage or download something the initial setting is always chinese. The HP pop ups for updates or whatever is also in Chinese. I don't get it at all. On the same note, Ebay Hong Kong was CHINESE ONLY for the longest time... it's really frustrating for me since I think of HK as a bilingual place.

Yes, HP has it with some of their machines, great that it was on one you wanted! Very strange about Chinese popups etc!?! That shouldn't be. Try checking the language settings in Vista: Control Panel/Regional Language Settings - make sure english is selected. I really think HK is a bilingual place, its the American companies like HP and eBay that don't know it. Good Luck
