cozy place for quiet drinks in central?

can anyone reccommend a quiet place in central where I can chat with a friend for 5 hours straight on a friday night without the disturbance of loud music and crowded surroundings? she's just here for a few days from Canada, so am thinking somewhere cozy, like di vino, but indoors, instead of red/lian/MO bar...thx a lot in advance.

there is this little lounge hidden on 148 Wellington street right by the wetmarket..called the Mingle Bar. it's never too crowded...good place to just chill.

or u can go further up by taking the escalator towards robinson road, there is a cafe/bar by the escalator on the way there~ they have a small stair-level 'terrace'. I forgot the name but that looks like a nice/casual place to hang out.

it seems like a nice n casual place to be
