Hi

Hay don't worry - you have options. I take it you are admitted already - but you haven't completed your restricted practice period. Thats fine - so long as you are you have gained admission.

Firms will usually bring you on as a Registered Foreign lawyer (RFL), and if you have under 2 years experiance they will find someone who can "supervise" you until you have completed the 2years.

Legally being a RFL means you are only entitled to practice the law of the jurisdiction in which you have been admitted - under the supervision of someone else in the firm. In reality however some firms will bring you in as a RFL - under nominal supervision - while you really do work for the partner to whichyou are responsible.
