hello I was just wondering, Coz my boyfriend has got a two months visa here in hong and he'll be arriving tomorrow.Is it necessary to buy a two way ticket w/ a valid of 60 days? or not? If not, Is it possible to buy a two way ticket valid for 21 days? Will the immigration officer question him about his ticket

If he has already got visa stamped on passport, no need to worry as its upto him how long he wishes to stay regardless of visa limit. However, if he needs to get visa extended, they might ask him to show the ticket and raise the question.

Hi thanks so that means its okay to get a ticket w/ a validty of 21 days? Am i right?...So it is not necessary to get a 60 days valid ticket going back to the country where he came from?

Thats right... They dont mind as long as he intends to leave HK anytime BEFORE visa expires.
