There seems to be quite a few technical/telecom people on this board so I thought I would ask here.

I'm interested in getting a HK sip service and telephone number to keep at the states to call and receive calls from HK.

From my research there seems to be two major providers, New World Telecom or Hong Kong Broadband.

They both have softphone service for less than $10USD/mo.

My question has anyone used these services from the states and if so does anyone if they support BYOD (bring your own device) and the settings required?
