Expats in 20's that live in New Territories

Any expats still in their 20's that live in the New Territories. I am 22 living in Tai Po but originally from Chicago. Would like to meet some people that I can go out with after work for drinks, dinner, etc. Always a pain in the ass to travel to HK Island from N.T. during the weekdays. Let me know if your interested.

I think expats that live in N.T. are a rare breed. I also live in Tai Po and I know the pain of having to travel from N.T. everyday but I work on HK island so it's convenient meeting people after work on the island. I'm not an expat per se but an AussieBC working in HK. If you want to do something in Taipo on the weekend i'd be interested.

Expats in NT

You've brought the grand total of NT expats to 21 now. Thanks! I'm kidding - but good for you! Tai Po's not that bad - KCR's right there!
I want to see that wishing tree up there. If you know where it is - let me know, and we should go check it out... then go for drinks or something!

Eh? By most people's definition someone born and brought up in Australia is an expat in Hong Kong. Race is immaterial.

I think there is a fair amount of expats in the NT actually. Most are along MTR's East Rail Line, but there are also some out West. I myself right now am living in the New Territories as well. I am in Kwai Chung area though. I plan to move out to Yuen Long actually.

Why are you moving to YL Chigger? Lets head out for some shady bars in central YL for a beer if you move here hehehe:P

It's a good price for what you get. I think central YL bars sound good for a shady beer or two.

I think I see more westerners in and around Tai Po now (and obviously NT in general) than I ever did before the handover. Why is that?

Some faces I see over and over again so can't just be tourists surely?
