Doh! Just bought my 4 day pass on Sunday, I'm sure someone will relieve you of them soon though.

This will be my first time at the HK Open and do not know the course, are spectators free to walk around the course to view the play at different holes?

Any other tips?

Well Stoob you are in for a treat, as pollution [at least the smog] is way down and the weather is great for a wander around a great course.
Just be sure not to get in the way of the pros.

That's good news, I would hate to be confined to set viewing areas.

I would assume they will have some markings/barriers to denote no-go areas.
