Bugatti Veyron

I didn't know there was a Bugatti Veyron in Hong Kong, so I thought I would share this with those who might want to see it also. It is at the Bentley Hong Kong showroom in Causeway Bay. It is yellow and black and looks better in the metal than in pictures, I would say.

Vital stats:
16 cylinders
4 turbos
1001 horsepower
10 radiators
Top Speed 253mph (407kph)
Price: don't bother asking

If you haven't seen the Top Gear video with James May (aka Captain Slow) PROVING the top speed:

I wonder if Aaron Kwok will buy it, and crash it, just like he did his piddly 500hp Pagoni Zonda... Imagine the damage he could do with 1001hp, and zero skill behind the wheel.

Who ever buys this Bugatti, I'll give them 3 to 2 odds that they meet the same fate as Aarons Zonda.....

I was dazed by TopGear's absence from our screens and had to content myself with this

The Veyron vs The Typhoon
best viewed fullscreen on a widescreen with surroundsound and dont forget to buckle up.

I love the Zonda. I was lucky enough to have a tour of the "factory" in Modena last month and saw them building car number 86. There was also a few other cars their, both customers, and the owners personal car. It truely is an awesome piece of machinery.

I still reckon the best bang for buck, ( 29,000GBP) is Ariel's Atom 300, its within easy reach of the masses to obtain , and achieves the same type of performance, if not superior in other ways. The perfect 3rd car .

This is my idea of a car that really does cut the mustard.

Car's like this are really wasted in Hong Kong, but I'm looking forward to getting one as a performance toy, when we eventually settle in New Zealand. The land of endless scenic roads .

I saw one of these at the Nurburgring in Germany. I love these cars also, but I really didn't envy them that day - it was 4 degrees celcius.
