Internet in our new office - Help needed!

Internet and office - office and internet! This has been discussed many times here, but I still need help....

We have rented an office in Tsuen Wan, next week it is finally ready and we want to move in ASAP.

The internet supply is obviously a bigger problem than I imagined before.... :-(

In early October, PCCW offered us a Business Netvigator package (2Mbit/2Mbit) for 498 HKD per month, not too bad.
Since we had plenty of time left at this time, we didn't make our decision until yesterday, so I called PPCW again.
They then said that due to bandwidth problems they can only offer us "up to 1.5Mbit / 650kbit" at this time, for 468 HKD per month.......

I called Hutchison / HGC, they seem to have decent deals such as 5Mbit / 5Mbit for business customers, but our office building is out of their coverage... :-(

We need to connect around 4-7 PCs to the Network, no server will be used, just a hub / switch. I doubt that the speed offered by PCCW will be sufficient for us...

Any proposals are MUCH appreciated!!

Try Pacific Internet http://corporate.pacific.net.hk/en/l...landing_xb.php
They may not be the cheapest around but the service is ok.

OTOH depends on what type of business your 5 ~ 7 PCs do, the PCCW plan may not be too bad at all, unless you are in graphic / video biz, constanly up/downloading stuff, or suffering from staff BTing megafiles during office hour, otherwise that plan from PCCW would do fine with just simple email traffic.

It just means you are on an old exchange or too far away for the popular high speed rates available.

What is your budget and speed requirements, and access to where? You can buy leased lines to a telco like Wharf T&T for dedicated high speed access. The high speeds rated from BB100-BB1000 are for within Hong Kong only.

Guys, thanks a lot... I called Pacific Internet and they will supply the Internet in our office.

6M/640K Multi User Plan (1 Fixed IP) for around 450HKD per month, I think this is fair.
