Work with US Embassy to migrate to US?

Can anyone tell me their experience with working with the US Embassy here to migrated adopted children to the US?

Not quite sure what you are asking here, but for U.S. immigration issues, you really should be working through U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, which now falls under the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, not the U.S. Department of State (which governs the U.S. Consulate in HK, there is no U.S. Embassy in HK). The Consulate deals mainly in visitors visas.

If a child is adopted by U.S. citizens, then getting citizenship for the child is just a matter of doing a bunch of paperwork. It is common for the adoptive parents to hire an immigration lawyer, adoption agency or both for this.

Thanks, I guess you are right, vague question. I really wanted to know peoples experiences in working through the US Embassy to assist in processing paperwork. Listening and understanding situations that may not really be under area of expertise.
