| | | Any Prince Fans? The Depeche Mode thread prompted me to seek out fans of the Purple One. Might not be everyone's cup of tea... but are there any True Funk Soldiers here in HK other than myself?
FYI... Prince is the highest ranking rockstar on the list of Top 100 Living Geniuses (#32... ahead of Brian Wilson, Stevie Wonder, Paul McCartney, and David Bowie)

I remember my mum let me go on condition that i go to school the next day- feel asleep in english lit,
ha, ha
lovesexy was the album that opened my mind to prince -after that there was no going back

| | | That is awesome! I saw him in Las Vegas in february, and had front row seats at the aftershow! He played a guitar solo standing right infront of me... as in, our shoes were almost touching!!! (as a straight guy, this was the first time ever getting so excited being so close to another man, LOL)
First concert was Lovesexy in Toronto... been a fan since foreverer... well, since Little Red Corvette/1999 (showing my age here, LOL)
I haven't been to London since 1989... so no, don't really hang out there.
Fav album/track... hmmm... varies according to mood! Sometimes I dig the funk, sometimes I dig the rock... but I especially love how he can make a funk track ROCK, and a rock song FUNKY!
