Bought a bag of RIGATONI at Park N Shop and found bugs like ants inside.
The bag is completely sealed. Complained to Park N Shop and they
were happy to refund, and their explanation was that it is common
to have bugs in pasta due to the weather (temperature change).

Is there any government agency to report similar incidents,
just to make sure suppliers or retailers do keep a good quality
of their goods.

Wasn't there a case in the paper recently about a women that sued ParknShop for bugs too? The only gov't agency I can think of is the Consumer Council.

was it by any chance a blue package with schnazzy italian name and pkg design? a very popular brand with lots of different varieties? i cant for the life of me remember the name but i had the same problem twice with this brand in singapore and so did a friend of mine. i wonder if its company specific because never had the issue with any other brand.

The incident that Rani mentioned happened at Welcome at Causeway Bay (St Great George Street), the Park N Shop I went to is also at the same street in Causeway.

With regards to Tex's comment, yes it was a blue package, with an italian name, I had already thrown away the plastic bag.
