I want to visit HK

I plan to visit Hong Kong Next August but have read about very humid conditions and also heavy rain which can be persistant. Would you advise travelling at that time of year? Also...do you know of any holiday apartments to let in Kowloon or the Island or Lantau and where's the best place to stay for a balance between chilling out but also seeing some sights?? Thanks everyone.

Not unless you like being hot (30+ degrees) and sticky (85%+ humidity).

Best time of year to come to Hong Kong is from October - February, which is from right now. Basically because you won't raise a sweat, in fact today is definately jacket wearing weather, its a tad nippy, but in a satisfyingly happy climatic way. .

As to your serviced apartment rental, you forgot to mention budget and duration of your stay.

But by the sound of it, I reckon this place below will do everything that you want without breaking the bank...

Only people who have no choice come to HK in August; unless you are from Singapore or something.
