I am well educated (MBA) looking for a weekend job, to learn something new and improve my horizon and all that....could you help me with this?? I won't mind doing anything....
Though I am not sure what I can do....tried getting a job with fat angelo's as receptionist/waiter...but aparently my qualification or lack of it didn't help me get the job....

| | | Do you have the right to work in Hong Kong? We read that you recently arrived from India, so if that's on an Employment Visa you're not able legally to take part time work like this, so that might be why you are being rejected. | |

| | | Why would an MBA a) have time for a weekend job b) feel compelled to try for a job as a receptionist/waiter

| | | Er, no. Your Employment Visa only permits you to work for the employer who sponsored it. You cannot work for anyone else. | |

| | | Although it's illegal to get a part-time job, some people with working visa are using a trick. They compromise with their potential employer not to file the employer tax returns of their salary in order to avoid tax implications. Besides, they receive cash for their salary. Therefore, there's no proof of the part-time job record. | |
