Good company secretary to handle paperwork?

Hello all, I am currenlty living and working in Singapore (expat), but I'd like to start a new venture either in HK or Singapore since the current one is going rather slowly, and I'd prefer to be my own boss rather than a partner.

When I set up my current biz here, we found a company secretary who handled all the paperwork for me, including green card, company registation etc. All I had to do was hand over my business plan, relevant qualifications, various health tests (ie AIDS!), etc and she did *all* the heavy lifting. Extremely convenient.

Can someone recommend a good company in HK who specialises in this? I am 33 years old, in the publishing industry, I have a good uni degree, enough money to see me thru the first year without any sales (although that's obviously not my intention!) and I believe a fairly solid business plan.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA.

Drop Raymond Choi a line on raymond@cmshk.com

He's consulted with us on a couple of complicated offshore projects and I've found him easy to deal with. Not the cheapest.. but if you're in Singapore and don't have the ability to deal with someone locally in HK, he would probably work out well for you.

Thank you KnowItAll. Very much appreciated.

I'll contact Raymond early next week once I've got a few things out of the way. I obviously don't have the financial muscle that large corporations have (your "complicated offshore projects" and "not the cheapest" quips scare me!) but if the service is a one stop shop and efficient, then I guess you get what you pay for, no?

Any other leads would be most welcome as well.

Don't be worried. Its not that expensive. What I meant was, you can find much cheaper company formation people in Hong Kong. Anyone can form a company...

It only gets complicated when you start looking for 3 layers of ownerships through islands in the pacific.
