He refers to the alley behind D'Aigular (where the Malaysian and Thai restaurants are) as rats alley.

food n drink

Hey this is reema signed in as goodfood

rani let me know when the girls nights take off...

on the thai joints- Cafe Siam near Dublin Jack (which incidentally is great for its spuds and beer stews) is not bad and teh Chilli n spice chain (all over the place) is reasonable and has a variety of asian delights (spicy clams and barbecued lamb are particularly good)....the one at stanley lets you sit on the balcony overlooking the sea and you may want to do an early supper as the sun sets and then get the candlelight going (if there's not too much breeze)

Spices at repulse bay is another great outdoor place with a good asian selection and western ambience

cant remember if anyone mentioned indochine- but the vietnamese salads and the beef soup (ask them to serve the raw beef strips separately if you go in the evening) is divine

the salmon lasagne at San Marzano (fairly romantic setting if you please) and almost everything at TOTTs(excelsior hotel rooftop) including the view if you can get a booking near the window, is great

more later...

Thanks Reema. Will let you know when we plan the girls night. I think it will probably be sometime next month. Has anyone done the magaritas and manicures night at Alibi yet?

Folks,

If you rave about Wing Cheung, can you do me a favor and post a review here?

I'll be adding your various choices to the resources / review list in a day.
