Sorry sunniefaith for pushing you. Of course you dont have to explain. Thanks for giving me your time. I guess sometime I am much too rude to people.

Do you live in Park Island, or lie? It is on Park Island, and you pass it if you ride the bus. The entrance is next to the bus stop. I doubt you live on Park Island.
Way out of line man. She is trying to help you and you dig in to her.

BTW look at her posting history, you will notice half of her posts are about Park Island also. Before you she was the exclusive advertising agent to Park Island.

i can confirm, sunniefaith lives on park island, as she is my (building) neighbour

i also never went to that park after opening. i went there before it opened, but nothing special there. i guess people who come from places like me and are used to huge areas with no people, cars or houses and lots of mountains dont really care about a tiny-mini park.

Renting park island

I'm also looking for someone to share a flat with me on park island.. I think the rent is around $8000.00 to $9000.00 (hkd) for a two bed room apartment. If you're interested pls contact me on waiying@gmail.com.

I thought I already apologized to sunniefaith. But if not, I am sorry if I dug into you. As for the Park, it will not appeal to most Expats, as it is too small, and no beer or dogs allowed.

Take care, and remember, if you are an Expat, you are not a Hongkonger yet.

redwriter,

I just wonder how much you really know of Park Island. Just to clarify, I'm not here to promote Park Island as I don't want rental prices to go up. And I'm definitely not a real estate agent. But you really have some silly misconceptions! What you do mean by no beer and dogs allowed? Of course beer is allowed. You can buy truck loads of beer from the 2 7-11 stores on the island and the Park and Shop too. And dogs, have you seen how many dogs are there on Park Island? I've a dog too. There are heaps and heaps or dogs here. Park Island is probably one of the most dog friendly estates around.

He's talking about Ma Wan Park specifically, not Park Island in general. The rules of Ma Wan Park do indeed state no dogs:
