Activating Work Visa Hi, Question about activating work visas -- Is there a time period within which the work visa needs to be activated? My work visa apparently got approved much earlier than expected and my move to HK got delayed slightly. I won't be physically relocating until January 08. Will this 2+ month delay pose a problem? Thanks.

hi there! if you look on the label, there should be a date which the visa must be activated on or before. on ours, there was about a 3 month time frame from the date of issuance and the date of which it had to be activated. hope this helps & good luck!

Thanks, LA Bliss. That does help. My employer-to-be hasn't couriered the visa over yet, so I haven't seen the label. Hope your move from LA goes smoothly. I'm moving from San Diego.
