I kinda agree with Sauvignon. When I first got to this country, I usually greeted the front desk staff at Kinwick with a smile - and "how you doing", when rocking up to gym to swap my card for my keys. After a couple of weeks of sour face responses from the reception, I've toned it down to just giving my card to them and avoiding eye contact altogther. I think for front counter staff they can definately improve on their people skills. Surely they are paid for more than their skills to swap cards for keys right ? They smile and joke with each other but definately think that their customers are a cut below them.
The class instructors are pretty friendly lot though - and a big difference to their reception staff. Don't know about the PTs.
While we're griping about Pure - what is it with some of the local HK customers in the ladies room ? - they leave their flip flops on the floor in front of their lockers when they go train, and leave their shoes outside when they go to the shower leaving everyone else to trip over their shoes.

Isn't that what a locker is for ? I've been very tempted to dump these random shoes which I keep tripping over in the bin to make a point.
