Best Electronic Shops in HK
I was just wondering if people would like to share their opinion on where the best electronic shopping can be had in HK. I'm currently looking for the latest ipod and a digital camera but advice on quality stores offering the best prices would be great!

I usually buy cameras (they only do cameras) from New Sankyo Camera Co. in the Holiday Inn, Entrance from Mody Road (near the Rimowa shop). I know Tony, the owner since 15+ years. He has good knowledge about his products and always gives at least the second best price. The best price is always the one too good to be true. I have never found a price more than 50 HK$ cheaper than what he offered me.

(And once he sold me a filter for a lense I bought there before and I found out it doesn't fit. - Money back or exchange offered without any discussion.)

One thing: The best priced products don't always come with warranty. You will need to ask for that.

I usually go to the stores that occupy the 16-or-so floors of the building right next to the E2 exit in Mong Kok. Just go into the elevator, choose a store, and start shopping

OK - great. i did hear of that place in Mongkok. Will check it out. Will venture to the camera store in TST. always good to know a relaible person selling as I have heard of the dodgy guys along nathan rd.
