Unhappy Dermatologist for athlete's foot & eczema

Hi, I am really in need of a good dermatogolist. I have been suffering from eczema / athlete's foot since I came to Hong Kong. I have been seeing Dr. Wong Kwok On in Central for the past 9 months and used up a lot of $$$ and I wondering if anyone can suggest any good doctors on the subject. My symptoms still persist. If anyone can help, it will be great! Please give me the name and ways of contact. I have never had this problem before and it's really agonising. Wearing shoes has never been before... so difficult...

Getting a second opinion is always good esp if you believe you have dished out loads of $$$$.

Although, keep in mind that these two skin ailments can be reoccurring esp in such a humid climate as Hong Kong and there is no cure for either of them.

Try these other HK doctors for a second opinion but, make sure they already know what medicines you have used/taken to treat it so that you don't get additional drugs. Also don't be surprised if the treatment that is recommended is the same/similar.

I have taken Lamasil tablets available otc in some pharmacies. Make sure you dry your feet thoroughly after washing. Apart from skin ointment consider applying some of that athelete's foot powder to the insides of your shoes to kill off any bacteria. During the day try to air your feet without offending your work colleagues. Easier if you have your own office. Just pop your shoes off if you think you will be sat down for some time.

On a point of pedantry, Athlete's Foot is a fungal infection, not a bacterial one.

Thanks everyone. I will try and see one of these Docs ASAP. Man, I hate this FUNGUS. Didn't even know when I got infected. So you think I should spray my shoes when I get home or when I air my shoes?
