Most of the people who marked this post as negative, obviously can not accept the truth, and are mostly idiots, I would also expect that they are Hong Kong Newbies, and would prefer someone who asked an honest question to get a rosy answer, and then end up unhappy. I will say there are some people who were down on their luck, and later got a good job, but rather than move, they bought a property and made it nice, so there are a few nice homes around, but you still cant help bumping into the Drunks in the bay. And there are much better places around Hong Kong instead of this wasteland of lost foreigners.
I mean like, Discovery bay with its Adolph Hitler management is a nice environment, I wouldn't live their though, but they have some nice clean environment, and a good Chipy.
But I tell you, with all these money grabbing landlords pushing up the rents by up to 50%, and making many companies bankrupt, no where is safe... My Advice, Buy a Home after the Olympics has finished. you'll get a good interest rate, and at the same time, lock you monthly payments, The rents will still be going up, but the payment wont. unless of course the interest rates start to hike, but in that case, Rents would go up even more to cover their own payments.

To the sad person that tried to give me a bad rating with the comment:
Your German life stinks

Thank you, so does yours apparently. Could you now please $%&*!@#.

The dot came out gray instead of red, not sure what that means.

I believe that grey dots mean that the person has not contributed anything of value here, so their opinions aren't worth anything much.
