On Kowloon-side...Austin Avenue/Austin Rd intersection there is an office furniture store ... great ergonomic chairs and tables.

I've been looking as well. I've found the Ikea ones to be too expensive for my needs and have been inquiring along Queen's Road West (near the Western Market). They start off a lot cheaper, from 400 bucks and different colours/materials.

Pricerite has some - better and cheaper than Ikea. Otherwise along Connaught Road as you walk from the escalator to Sheung Wan there are several office furniture stores.

For refurbished office chairs, Tin Hau MTR station A1 exit, take a left to Ngan Mok Street and walk east along King's Road and there are several second hand office furniture shops.

I just got an office chair for my home office at Posh Office Systems: www.posh.com.hk. They have stores in Central, Wanchai and Kowloon. Check the website for store locations. Prices range from $600 to $1800 and up to $6k, quite a range to suit varied tastes and budgets.

Very happy with my chair, I got one with a mesh back (in a great color, not black!). They also have leather ones too.
