Apparently doing so "destroys the spiritual fabric of the universe".

In any other context this would be regarded as insanity.

I have used Cheung Hing Tailors, 79 Queen's Road, Central 4th Floor. Nowhere near the prices mentioned above. Apparently used by the staff from the British Consulate but that could well be a rumour. Got the Tux for my wedding there and my brother got a couple when he was over. Always busy when I go in but they have enough staff to avoid waiting.

What's the quality like?

I've seen suits from 2K to 5k. The cheaper ones have been okay, but I can definitely tell a difference in quality of fabric and attention to detail. Now, if I could find a place that was both cheap and good...

I wouldn't use business as an indicator of quality. Jantzen is always busy, but I woudn't say they are particuarly good. They're just close to IFC/Exchange Square.

Well the quality seems fine to me, but then I am someone who thinks Marks and Spencer is a designer label. All I can suggest is that you drop in and have a look. They certainly don't spend their money on grand premises. The place was recommended to me by the wife of a megarich local so I guess they would not go for totally crap quality.
