| | | I listen to a few podcasts, but I have to ask why are you looking for the URLs, of e.g. what I listen to? It's a purely subjective thing - my interests might not match up at all closely to your interests...
Anyway, I mainly listen to Mark Kermode's film reviews on BBC Five Live, Five Live Sportsweek, some of the Daily Telegraph podcasts, and sad to admit, a mix of LUG radio and Novell Open Audio to keep the geek in me satisfied.

| | | sorry no direct links, but should be able to find easily on iTunes. All audio, not video:
Chinesepod.com: for newbies to advanced Mandarin Chinese lessons. actually relevant topics.
Slate Explainer podcasts: Slate.com. 3 minute podcasts that explain things behind a topical news story. e.g explains why Marion Jones would have popped 'flaxseed' pills.
Leonard Lopate show: a New York public radio interview show. Just like his wide-range of topics and guests. 30 minutes.
Betty in the Sky with a suitcase. A flight attendant tells stories about things that happen in her line of work. very perky gal. 20 minutes.

| | | I shall watch this thread with interest. There have been a couple of good suggestions already.
The BBC does a good range of podcasts, regular news bulletins, in-depth analysis and interviews.
Most other podcasts which I've tried have thus far proven to be too much like cable TV- a thousand channels of crap.

| | | beafan> just go into itunes and then the itunes store. There is a section called podcasts and you can browse or search for a particular podcast. If you find one you like, just hit the subscribe button and itunes and your ipod do the rest. | |
