| | | Bars with pool tables? Hi Geo Expats. I'm new in town, and looking for a bar where I can drink and play pool. I 'm located in Wanchai, so something close would be ideal. Thanks for any suggestions, and thanks for all the other I've info gleaned from this site in the last month or so. You guys are a lot of help to a newbie like me. | |

| | | Say, would this "pool" be snooker or american pool? I'm not too up on the local terms. My gal likes the American version; she thinks it's easier to play. | |

| | | Skitz in Wanchai is good too.
Pool is pool and snooker is snooker - they are quite different games. (And there are various versions of pool: 8-ball, 9-ball, county varients of the rules, etc.) | |

| | | Thanks all. I've got a good list going here. I'll have to take some time and check them all out. I've been here a month and a half, and although I haven't been going out much, (work work work) I didn't see any. It's become a bit of a craving. Thanks again!

| | | Hi Mikeyla,
I am new to HK's pool scene myself and come from 4 years in Shenzhen where I was spoiled with great pool joints.
If you are up for it we can meet up for a game of pool and a pint.
Cheers, Ken | |

| | | Just out of curiosity, why does someone who signs himself "Ken" have an alias of "Jack"?
But anyway, I'd be up for a game or two of pool at Skitz or somewhere too... |
