Question AVR-2500 from hong kong uk power ?

i was given a denon AVR-2500 reciever amp
that cam from hong kong, will it work in the uk
or will i need some sort of transformer ?

do i just put a uk plug on the cord and plug it in and it will be ok then ?

Hong Kong power plugs are the same as UK. If it doesn't already have a UK power plug on it then all is not as it seems (i.e. it isn't actually a HK model).
