| Right to abode I have a question. If one of your parents holds a HK passport and is a permanent resident, does that entitle his adult son/daughter the right to abode if the latter was born outside HK? I'm planning on visiting HK for some time and may consider finding a job for some time and things would be a lot easier if I could bypass the normal immigration procedure that all foreigners have to go through to apply for a work visa. Bear in mind that I've never been to HK and never applied for any residency or right that having a HK resident as your parent may have conferred me. |
