Dog day care

hi, anyone interested in looking after my dog for about 8 days in early december. All i need is someone to look after her during the day, from 9am to about 7 pm and take her out for 1 walk in the afternoon. I'll walk her myself in the morning and at night. I'll also be feeding her. It would be preferable if you live in happy valley, wan chai, or causeway bay.

the dog, LuLu, she is 15 months mixed breed. smallish medium size, 15kg. gets along very well with dogs of all sizes.

Not sure what you want. How do you mean look after her? Is she sick or something and needs someone with her all day or are you just looking for someone to pop in in the afternoon and take her for a walk?

I just dont want her to be alone at home by herself the whole day. She's in perfect health.

Oh. I don't know anyone who can stay there the whole day. You might consider going to one of the agencies that supply part-time maids, that way the dog can have some company, have a couple of walks and you can have your ironing done for you as well

Alternatively, many pet shops and places like the SPCA do boarding, not sure whether that would be much different from being at home though.

Could try Pets Central in North Point - believe they do day care (1/2 day boarding) but might not get the attention that it sounds like you're looking for.

Probably same for most other boarding style places.

Get a maid??

thanks guys. I checked out SPCA and a few other facilities. THey dont usualy get any human and canine interaction throughout the day.At the spca, the dogs are only let out for 10 -20 minutes on a smallest deck 3 times a day. They never walk any of them.

I like to see my dog at night and in the morning. My wife works from home but she'll be gone for work that week. I just dont think dogs should be left at home by themselves for such a long period of time. I do have a back up dog walker who will come in during the day. Just hope there is a better option out there.

thanks all.
