FIREWORKS TONIGHT (Oct. 1.2007)
Does anyone know if there are fireworks tonight?

Typically there is but haven't heard so many people talking about or been able to grab the SCMP or HK Mag to find out.

yep-it is on. Saw some of the TST restaurants advertise it. Apparently, for 8.00pm.

Yes. 9:15pm.

It has always been 8pm whenever I have checked previously, but the official link above does say 9:15pm this time for some reason.

Probably a little late for this - but they are on at 9.15pm tonight. However be prepared for wind, as I've just checked the HKO website and they have issued the strong monsoon wind signal. Shouldn't be a problem, but I was down at the Avenue of the Stars this afternoon and it was very windy.
I'm off to watch them, so I hope you enjoy. Cheers
