moving to HK pregnant

Hello,

I am in early stages of pregnancy (first child) and my husband has an offer for us to move from Australia to HK in jan 2008. I have a few questions!

How can I prevent being isolated at home with a new born in a country with no family & friends?

If I choose to go back to part time work after a while will I find this easy to get in the HR field? Is there good childcare available or is it best to hire a good nanny to look after your child a few days a week?

Finally, how easy is it to get into an obstetrician & private hospital? Whith a may birth do I need to start organising this now? I am making sure we have health cover for this.

Thanks for any help you can give me..

I think you're likely to get better answers to this over on the sister forum for kids & parenting issues: http://www.geobaby.com
