HK Resident Visa Question Hi, Hopefully someone will be able to answer this question: My wife has her 3 star/ROA HKID card. (Approved during summer'07) She is about to sponsor myself (her husband) and our 3 year old daughter for the HK Resident Visa. Since we will not begin looking for work in HK until after we relocate (our housing has already been arranged), how much savings will the HK immigration office require before approving our visas? Thanks in advance

Modified Title - HK Dependent Visa Apologies - I meant to refer to the HK Dependent Visa process, not the Resident Visa process. Thanks

There isn't a fixed rule - it depends on the judgement of the officer handling your case. If you can show evidence of the accommodation my personal guess would be anything over HK$100,000 or so would probably do, but that's really just a gut feeling.
