Where can I dispose my rechargeable batteries? I have a bunch of old rechargeable batteries (from cell phones, RC toys etc.) that are sitting around my house and I'm about to move. Any idea of where I can safely dispose of these? I heard that some 7-11s have drop boxes, but haven't been able to find any.

Probably doesn't help - but I saw a drop box on the platform of the MTR at Tung Chung.

The EPD (Environmental Protection Department) has a re-cycling program for rechargeable batteries. Here's the number to call: Waste Reduction and Recycling Hotline 2838 3111 Or/ see this link for collection points (scroll down to link by district): http://www.epd.gov.hk/epd/english/en...tml#collection Last edited by nina_70; 27-09-2007 at 08:28 AM.
