moving from US to HK in Nov.

Hi,
I'm wondering what would be the best/cheapest way to ship my stuff. I'm planning to sell my furniture so I'll bring boxes of books, clothes, and misc.
If anyone can help me, I'd really appreciate it.

I've used http://www.sevenseasworldwide.com on other routes and they have been extremely efficient and well organised for a few boxes of stuff.

My company choose echo transworld for my relocation from greenwich CT to Hong Kong, currently my shipment is on its way to hong kong and I am pretty satisified with their service so far.

Thanks, keithcheyda.
However, the company has received some bad reviews in the past (from movingscam.com) They probably improved their service since because your company hired them and you're satisfied with them. But those bad reviews still worry me quite a bit so I decided to go with another company. Thanks for your feedback though.

My suggestion is start your garage sale ASAP/ bring your sentimantel stuff/ lowered with green/ This is the best and cheapest way.Only thing you need to do NOW is find yourself a decent place to live in HK.

thanks for the advice

I've been quite good, not buying anything bulky for some years now. So I'm selling all my old furniture and bringing only the essential.
Anyway, thanks all for the advice. I've decided on one moving company that has good track record and offered a reasonable price. Thanks all!
