Working For Big 4 Hi I will graduate at the end of this year and am looking to get into one of the Big 4 Accounting Firms in Hong Kong I have a Hong Kong citizenship so that is no problem, however as I have been in Australia nearly my whole life my cantonese is very basic and I cannot read at all. For anyone that knows will I still be considered in the application process? My english is very strong so I was hoping that if I do get in I could just work on English speaking clients. Thank you all for your help!

Written cantonese is not a prerequisite in working at Big 4s. i know plenty of fresh grads who do not know a word in cantonese working for them. Good luck!

Wow, Thanks for your speedy reply much appreciated! Also, I met with a Deloitte partner earlier this year who told me grad salaries were 11k per month. Is this about right?
