Unless you're looking for something very specific .. plenty of info on the web to get you started.

Unfortunately, from what I've seen the whole teaching thing tends to revolve around the teacher then trying to hook you up some some proprietary software which might end up costing an arm and aleg.

why do you specifically want to learn about fx in HK?
is it because you want to privately trade or because you want a career in the business or just to understand the topic?

For forex trading the best recommendation is to track pairs eg GBP/HKG and to get familiar with the range and flow of movements between the two. Unless you are trading in very large amounts, having live feed is probably not necessary, so a free service giving 15 minute info delay will be OK unless you want to jump in first thing in the morning although many dealers will start work 8am. If you are playing online then you can trade smaller amounts but most phone accounts have a minimum trade of ~ 5000 sterling to get a rate remotely worth having. You can purchase currency, take out options and bet on indices. Another website with good streaming data is http://www.advfn.com/
The interface can apppear daunting but there is a lot of stuff to get your teeth into. Most courses as has been pointed out will just take your money for some old rope. Don't bet more than you can afford to lose is the only lesson you need to know...and be careful to check the respective dealer spreads.

fxtrade.oanda.com is free and has live feed. Spreads are as low as 0.9 bips between EUR/USD.
Trading 24 hours. Of course trading with real money is also possible, no minimum volumes. 1$ trades are even possible. Interest is paid daily.

...so far I have managed to crash out 2 PCs with the ouanda game and it only offers HKD/US re HKD...maybe the 'live' version gives a full range on HKD similar to fsvn.

The game version is live and fully featured. Th only currency pair for HKD is with USD.

To run the trading platform you need Java runtime environment installed.
