dependant visa urgent question

Hi, my husband is currently waiting to renew his working visa which run out 2 weeks ago. The problem is that his company messes up the renewal process so he had to wait for about a couple of weeks at home waiting for his work visa to goes through. I need to travel to my home country to give birth in about a week time on my own. I wonder if there will be any trouble of me leaving the country? I always used my HK id when entering the country so there's no stamp in my passport. I am scare that they will think that I enter the country and over stay illegally or something like that. the last time I got my passport (UK) stamped was last year in September.
What should I do? Can I leave the country peacefully?

Have you thought about visiting HK immigration in Wan Chai, or calling them, refering your case number, and informing your case officer of your current situatiuon?

You'll find, they will make an adjustment to your details, and not redflag you upon entry, if you inform them of your situation first. Talk to whoever the case officer is that's handling your husbands botched work visa.

HK immigration is generally fine unless you have a passport from a country thats renouned for overstaying. Then you are going to be in for a bit of fun and games, and we have all seen them being taken away to interview rooms as we pass through immigration at the airport etc. I won't mention which stereotypical group that gets targeted here, but most of us see it happen on a regular basis.
