I found the best Satay place in HK

Hi all,

Just want to share this with all Singaporeans, Malaysians and Indonesians in hong kong. Those craving for satay with the traditonal peanut sauce can check out a shop in Sai Wan Ho. An old man(the guy is indonesian) runs the shop and opens only after 10.30pm. I have to say its one of the best satay i've ever tried. Even better than Singapore....Dont have the exact address but its ard the corner from HSBC bank on the outskirts of the complex. Next to the petrol station.

Satay party anyone....he is willing to do pre-orders for BBQ.

Enjoy guys....

And I found chicken rice at food junction in Tung Chung's Citygate. Pretty good. Think might be the best overseas chicken rice that I've eaten

I just found out that a Kebab joint is about to open in the Gold Coast Mall, near the manning pharmacy, which will be a very welcome addition. Hopefully it will be a more Middle Eastern style instead of the locally adapted style, like they tried to pass off in Sai Kung which had grated carrot in it lol. Hopefully it will be the yogurt, hommus, BBQ lamb variety.

Will keep you guys posted.

I read that Eberneezer (the one with branches in Wanchai, TST, DB) is opening at Gold Coast. Might be the same?

If it is, which sounds like it, I am a happy camper. They do pretty similar kebabs to back home. That's most excellent news, an Eberneezer kebab will go down well after a few pints with the lads. Great to see that they chose the GC Mall .
