Question for the guys - vasectomy info

Anybody had one done in HK or have any local information about this? A friend is passing through HK in a couple weeks and would like to have a vasectomy performed (he works in Egypt, and doesn't want it done there!).

Many thanks in advance for any helpful info!

Apparently best place to get vasectomy is Iran, and its free!

Strange and true fact

They do them at the Family Planning place in Wan Chai, though it is dearer for non-residents.

Actually I am thinking of having the snip myself so any input would be appreciated - you can PM if you're shy

Found out that at the Wan Chai family planning place its $2000 for residents and $3500 for non-res. If he's going to pay a premium he might as well go to non-govt place that might be more comfy. Any ideas?

"comfy" in what sense? It's outpatient surgery isn't it? So it's not like you need a fancy room for a few nights or anything?

$3500 is CHEEEEEEEEAP compared to 18 years of support + 4 years of Uni + grad school + failure to launch...
