Hi everyone, i'm new to this forum (and to the idea of moving to Hong Kong).

I'm planning on moving to Hong Kong in Jan '05 from Australia with my boyfriend who has recently obtained a NET position. I too am a teacher and will be looking for work when i arrive in Hong Kong.

I was hoping someone could help me with the question of how easy or hard it will be for me to find a teaching position/school that will be willing to sponsor me for a work visa? Anyone's input on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a bundle, Corinne

Suggest you better do some homework there..mean start hunting and applying from there... Demand is high and prospects are bright for NETs in HK and finding a sponsor should not be that difficult, i guess...

How are you doing mate? I strongly suggest you to have a quick visit at http://goaboard.com/ and u may find alot of info that may help. As my GF is coming ova to HK soon from Perth as well...she started to look up http://goaboard.com/ and hopefully that she will find a job offer from there.

BTW, I guess you guys are gonna be bz with ferdal election tomorrow...and I have a early vote today at Australian General Consulate today. It was pretty quiet tho.
