I need to allergy test my daughter for cats before buying one. She gets very sneezy at my Mum's, either due to the cat or the carpet.

Is there anyone going on holidays that needs a cat-sitter for a week or two? We have successfully minded rabbits, a dog and turtles previously. Plants on the other hand would stand no chance, but that is another story entirely.

try hk dog and cat rescue. they need short-term foster homes until the cat/dog finds a permanent home.

Hong Kong Alley Cats can probably find a great cat or kitten for you to foster on a short term basis. There are other organizations like Lamma Animal Protection that may have cats in need of short term foster homes. I think that a cat rescue also has some ads up in the classified section of this forum. They might be worth contacting.

Little bugger stood outside the bedroom door this morning and howled until we got up. Apparently the last house he lived in (he was 'inherited') had maids who fed him promptly every morning. But it does remind me why we don't have children. Can't lock them in the back room while you get that extra 15 mins of sleep...

Anyhow, seriously, in October when we go on hols... He seems to be immune to changing surroundings. My partner is really attached to him so we will take him back.
