I was all prepared to play tighter than a frogs ass tonight with no all in preflops with the calling stations at the table, and paying better attention to the texture of the board, but I was texted by Volar the event is cancelled due to leaks that will be repaired this evening. Guess I can practice some more this week an be ready for next wednesday. All players who were in tonight are preregistured for next week!

Just a note to let those interested know that We're have Sit-go tourney first this Friday then cash games after dinner. See the meetup site for blind, rebuy and Game details. The tourney should take about 2 hours leaving plenty of time for James to give me more cash when I go over the top all in on his raise.... again and again.

for the tournament would it not be better to have only one tournament with both tables combined. other wise when your out you'll have to wait for a longer time till the cash game. if we have 2 tables we can combine once 9 players are out...

secondly i have a proposal for you ... if you pay my entrance fee to volar i will offer to play on your behalf, i.e if i make the top 7 i'll send you in the finals ..

what do you think?

of course if i win any prizes i get to keep em. but i play to hit top 7 before playing for myself.

Actually the style of tourney your talking about would take longer for the top 9 to play in the cash game and the sit and go structure will only take a total of 1.5 to 2 hours, not till 1am like last time. I see your point about the bottom 5 from each table, we can also get a 3 rd room if more show who dont want to play the tourney but we can't have it both ways unless we pay for more rooms which at 828 is a little steep if you ask me. Let's go with it this way this time and see if its a significant improvement from the last one, in time played. We'll go from there but I don't want to keep adjusting the structure so everybody knows what we're doing and dosent get confused.

As for Volar, I'd like to either make it myself or sit back and cheer on my friend from the observation ropes. Hope to see you in the final!

ah yes seeing your blind structure it should be a bit of a turbo tournament .. give me about an hour to clear up the table
