- And for the newcomer(s) : I won't pretend that we will not be happy to take some money from you David, but I believe our stakes / ambiance is OK for a beginner and you shouldn't lose your shirt! I actually did the same 8 months ago now (wow... back to the future, that long already??!!) and finally my poker 101 lessons are starting to pay! Thx Hamish/James/Mike/Ray/and so many other's poker camp!!

For Volar, I did not try their level yet, but it should be pretty lose/relax as the only fee is 2 drinks (300$ total though!) and you play for bottle of teq/cigar/Macau ferry tickets.... and a place at final table (for Mike?? LV here I come.... )

Just my 2c.... My poker sense is tiggling already, see you tomorrow guys!!

The information is all on the sight Beuze, and may even be included in the "Welcome pack" although i haven't received mine yet so can't confirm its existence ...

actually i've been teaching a colleague how to play .. if there was enough interest i suggested we could post on the site a low stake game for beginners .. say 50 dollar buy in ...

means those less skilled could play in a freidnly environment without being burned .. Brain may even be able to recruit some for his Sai Kung game

word of advide Mike be very liberal with you ALL IN Bluffs ... to be sure they will call you ... even with a pair of twos ... the rules are a little different as you tend to get several calling stations ...

Sounds great, I find tight and conservative works well on loose and aggressive so I plan to adjust to the punters that seem to show to the "free" poker nights.
To confirm (yes, cooks drink, we also feed bar managers too) we'll meet at the texted location at 7pm and yes I worked 30 floors up from there and have a few of the bar stools dimples molded to my cheeks.
Lets get it on!

P.S. Brian, I know you were kidding I was too, never take me serious unless I type in capitols and say this is serious. SEE YOU ON FRIDAY!

well Volar was fun , managed to hit the top 7 which secured my seat to the final ..

sorry Mike about busting you out but when i got open ended straight draw and top pair and re-raise you, you shouldn't really be going all in with a pair of 2's .. even with an Ace Kicker!!

and after you well bullying that table so well knocking out about 4-5 players!!!

sorry for lack of responce I've been recipe developing all day. As for my self inflicted wounds, yes I sucked after I got full of myslef after knocking 4 people out of the tourney early and I got stupid with all those chips.
The final is Oct. 17th and I'm Trying again next week as I want to go to the Final nught as well.
