Hi I am the native Thai who obtained the degree in Business(Finance) from Thailand and Master of Information Systems from Australia. I am currently working as a financial analyst for a Global IT company in Australia. I plan to relocate to HKG in the near future under a spouse visa allowing me to work legally in HKG. I am looking for a job in HKG, but most positions required Chinese that would be difficult for me for start learning from the beginning. I have been searching on the net for a Thai speaking role, but not many in the market. I need an advice as to how to find a role for non-chinese speaking (Thai speaking).

You might want to expand your search to jobs that require English. Thai is going to be very tough in HK.

Hi Any luck yet? I am also Thai, married to an Expat based in HK and moved here but have been flying back to Thailand on a monthly basis. It is very difficult to find such a job you are looking for due to linguistic requirements in Hong Kong. I am now thinking to do import / export instead. It makes more sense!

There are niches in things like Customer Service - there was one advertised on the old Jobs Classifieds here that was looking for English & Thai (or other regional languages). But obviously Customer Service is not what you want if you hold a masters in IT...
