Thank you all | We live here, it is absolutely wonderful. Clean,
friendly very good services and easy transport to everywhere else. The airport is about 35-40 min.,and
there is a shuttle bus service. The rent is very reasonable, hk13000 to 21-23,000 for 3 bedroom fully furnished app. If you want your own furniture you can have them remove the ones in the flat free of charge in the first few weeks of occupation. Very secure, guards are everywhere, can have cleaning service and if you are nice to the staff they will go out of their way to help you with every little problem etc. We looked every
where else, unless you want to pay hk34000 I do not think you can find a better place than here. It looks congested with all the tall buildings, but there is no noise, pollution and is VERY private. Good luck.

| | We live 10 minutes walk from the the GC mall, I have to say, our streets are among the neatest, nicely street gardened and cleanest around, and thats really saying something lol. So I categorically agree with MSMelbourne.
Also, if you love the outdoors, sailing, boating, the beach, theres a lot to offer here. You are within 15 minutes car drive of the Tong Lychee Valley and Tai Lam national park, 10 minutes drive from Hong Kongs only international class outdoor go cart track ( Lung Kwu Tan ), soccer oval, jet ski hire place, canoe hire, if you have kids this is a very ideallic location for them to experience some conveniant outside activity, minus the effort.
Personally we love where we live, as it combines a bit of what I liked about living in Sai Kung, the feeling of a friendly community, a dash of disco bay without the facist management rhetoric or the vehicle restrictions, and very easy access to the airport ( exactly 22 minutes to the HKBAC terminal by car or taxi ), without living on its door step...
Its just brilliant

| | | Gold Coast Residence - 3-Room 1138 sqf Hi
Anyone currently staying in a 3-Room 1138sqf unit? How much rental are you paying? Is it worth paying extra rental for furnishing or do it ourselves?
The company quoted HKD3,000 extra for furnished unit.
Thank you. | |

There are a number of apartment complexes that neighbour the Gold Coast opposite, and next door, quiet a few of the privately owned rentals have a space included. Gold Coast Residences does have its own car park, and if the apartment you are looking at doesnt have its own car space tied to it, you'll have to rent one from either a resident who does for possibly a cheaper rental than what Sino are going to charge you. Car space shouldnt cost more than $1200 per month as i live in the neighbourhood, often seeing adverts at the Welcome super market and our club house for spaces people arent using. $900 - $1200 a month is about the range..
Also, keep your options open, i know for a fact that Aqua Blue includes car space with their apartments, as they were purchased together by the private owners, . $18,500K per month from what i have heard for a 1189ft2 3 bedroom, maids room, 2 bathrooms and sea view inc car space, for a 4 year old complex.
Hillgrove is another quality complex, and Palm Beach but getting above 35K a month for those luxury duplex only blocks.

| | | Hi,
Curious to know if anyone managed to rent the 610 ft seaview apartment for under $9000? Does any one know what membership charges are like for the clubhouse and if it is worthwhile being a member? | | Tools | Search | | | | | Rate This Thread | | | All times are GMT +8. The time now is 12:03 PM.
