Hey,

I'm looking for some people that want to be tourists on the weekends. Since we all work during the week we don't have time to enjoy the beautiful HK. If anyone is up for checking out the islands around HK or going somewhere fun let me know. Also, any ideas on fun places to visit are welcome.

As a local , let me give some opinion
Lamma Island, Lautau, CHeung Chau...
and my recommendation.....EAST PING CHAU....the island near tai po, every saturday and sunday there are ferrys depart from ma liu shui...(i was there a month ago, that's GREAT )

There's still a few places I haven't been. Anyone free during the week (Mondays and Tuesdays)? I wanna check out Mui Wo and Peng Chau. Can't believe I've never been to either. I was born here.

Hey Everyone,
Doing some easy traveling around HK is a great idea. Maybe we should try to pick something, and a date, and see who confirms? The Islands sound great, and even Macao for a day is good, too!

I don't know about everyone else, but the weekdays are tough for me. I work in China, but weekends tend to be pretty free.

On Sundays I normally pick a spot that looks nice and go visit it. I think I am going to visit Lamma Island this sunday Sept. 2. Anyone want to join?

Lamma rocks. You'll love it. Unfortunately, I work and take a Cantonese class on Sundays.
