| | | Mexican Food! Does anyone know of any good Mexican restaurants in Hong Kong? I've been to the two restaurants in Wan Chai on Lockhart road, and the one in Soho and I wasn't impressed. I forget the names.
I'm from California, I really miss the good cheap Mexican food you could get there.
Also I heard there was a Taco Bell in Shenzhen that is more of a sit-down restaurant instead of fast-food. Has anyone been there? Where is it located and is it any good? Might make a trip there/Walmart if anyone wants to come.

| | | In short:
Mexican food in HK is not as good as California where, apparently, it is the only place you can get authentic Mexican food. The irony has been long since lost.
In fact, no food here is as good as the food in the US, this also goes for supermarkets, hardware stores, soft furnishings and bathroom supplies.

| | | Agave Agave in Lan Kwai Fong or in Wanchai. They have the best torrtillas, burritos, nachos and margaritas. Especially nachos and margaritas. A bit pricy though but this is the only place I've been to that serves the right Mexican food.
Hope this reply is not too late for your urge.

| | | In case you didn't read the other threads, i'll save you the trouble and let you know taco bell in shenzhen sucks. it's been chaned to fit the asian palate (not your typical 6 ingredients to make 30 different menu items like in normal TB). If i remember right, there were only a few mexican dishes and they had other stuff like rotisserie chicken . As for location it's in the basement floor of a big mall. i forget the name at the moment. It has big letters all over outside of the mall in different colors. | |

| | | Taco Bell in Shenzhen I've been to the Taco Bell in Shenzhen. Even though it's called Taco Bell, it's not the same than the ones in the US owned by Yum Brands. There 's also no rats there, of what I can recall. It is located in MixC, close to the Starbucks. Take a look to the cute Chinese girls at the Starbucks, they tend to look for foreigners and are HOT compared to the well below average typical HK girls. | | Tools | Search | | | | | Rate This Thread | | | All times are GMT +8.
