| No - an L visa is an intra-company transferee. ( http://hongkong.usconsulate.gov/niv_...ategories.html ) The US Consulate site doesn't immediately show an Investment Visa based purely on buying assets. There is an investment visa (E5 class) based on investing in a new business in the US which employs at least 10 US Citizens/permanent residents. | US visas are tricky. L would work if your HK company bought a US company and transfered you down there to manage it. |
