Where to buy a backgammon board?

Anyone seen one around recently? I'm talking about the 'briefcase' type ones which close up for portability... I don't want a particularly expensive one - thinking of things like taking it on a junk, to the beach, etc.

I did try Toys'R'Us, where they had some N-in-One games sets (e.g. chess, backgammon, snakes'n'ladders together) but that wasn't really what I was looking for.

I found what I was looking for this afternoon in the Ladies Market in Mongkok - a nice wooden set, complete with things like a doubling die, shakers, and so on. It's actually not quite a briefcase set, because it doesn't have a handle, but it'll go into another bag quite happily - so problem solved!

backgammon site rip offs

As you are interested in the game, I repeat a post placed elsewhere:
I have been a regular backgammon player since the age of seven, having played with my father since then and at an exclusive private members club in London on many occasions, including tournaments worth several thousand HK dollars. It is on this basis that I must warn people not to become involved in the following two sites - bgprime and play65.com - as these are run by fradulent organisations and designed to exploit people seeking some entertainment online. I do not want people to have the same experience with these organisations as I have had and urge you, if considering playing backgammon online, to find a reputable site, backed by a reviewed company and having positive testimonials, on which to play.
