Viewing Rugby World Cup

Possibly getting a bit ahead of myself here as I don't see any other threads on this subject, but does anyone know if it's possible to subscribe to any channel in HK that will show the Rugby World Cup in September, or do I have to go to a bar to watch it?

Don't particularly fancy hanging out alone in bars at 3 in the morning, that's all!

Thanks!

The Rugby World Cup will be on CableTV exclusively apparently.

.....does anyone fancy picking some key games, and we can meet up for a drink(s) and watch a few of them? I'm sure some of the LKF bars will be showing the games....even at 3am in the morning.

I might be planning to take some time off work to catch some of the Ireland games (at least).

Cheers

I'm down for anything with the wallabies, all blacks or springboks.

Mike, thoroughly enjoyed watching this years Tri-Nations, and always enjoy watching the Southern Hemisphere teams playing, so I'm up for it. Let's look at the fixtures and try to organise something in a while. You coming out on Thursday night to with us to talk about the Macau GP trip.....see you then!

Unfortunately, I will be supporting the "other" team - England. So I expect I will have no friends!

Great, any idea on a venue?

And Kazbo, I remember England's kicking game in the last rugby world cup, even though they won it was nothing to write home about.

he he.....@ Mike's comment re: England's kicking game...

Seriously though Kazbo, the more the merrier!!

Based on Muddykin's comment, looks like I am going to spend the next 1 and a half months in the pub.....

Venue....hmm, need to check who is going to be showing the game....the obvious starter for ten is Delaneys in Wan Chai, Bulldogs in Wan Chai or LKF, and Dublin Jack in LKF........but there's something funny about LKF Bulldogs and Dublin Jack and where they get the coverage from. They weren't showing the Scotland vs Ireland game two weeks ago and the waitress in Dublin Jack said something about where they got their signal from (???)....Delaneys' in Wan Chai were showing the game......based on the green armys' performance, I'm glad I didn't have the opportunity to see it.....although it was our second team playing, but still......
